In the mid 1980's my videos started the demand for body bite suits in the United States. Before I produced my training videos (which were filmed in Europe) the standard bite suits used in this country were the big boy style military suits. Back then I started to sell suits because so many people watched my tapes and wanted this equipment. In the early 1990's I stopped selling suits. My feeling was that there were enough vendors selling suits in this country.

I have reversed my position on this. There are so many poor quality suits being sold I have decided to again import and sell suits. My suits are being made to my specifications in Belgium. I have not seen a suit sold in this country that comes close to the quality of workmanship in this product.

The craftsmen who make my suits have been willing to work with me to come up with a suit that is designed for police work. A police department has different needs than sport people. The average helper in police work does not have a lot of experience in doing helper work. We have added additional protection for these people.

The bite suit is made of 65% cotton and 35% nylon. The inside is felt. There is extra padding in the arm pit area, across the back, and in the legs. This has resulted in about 10 more pounds of protection than suits sold by American suppliers. We have a suit that a helper can lay on the ground and take a bite with.

If you go to Europe you will find there are many different styles of bite suits. There are suits for the French Ring Sport, the KNPV sport, and even IPO suits. My suits are designed for police service and personal protection training. My suit provides maximum protection in the arms, shoulders, and upper back along with the legs.

I have also designed a suit with larger lower legs. This does two things:

• It provides more protection
  
• It makes the suit pants easier to get on and off (some suits take 2 people to get the pants off)

The layers of our suits are designed to slip against each other. This allows the dog to grip the suit and form his own bite bar for the grip. This results in less pinching for the helper. My suits come with an extra protective outer layer for both arms and lower legs.

All bite suits are special order. It takes 7 to 10 weeks for delivery time. We can also special order French Ring and KNPV suits to fit.

Unfortunately I was ripped off on a suit that was purchased on a stolen credit card. There is not enough profit in a suit to take that risk again. Suits need to be paid by money order or cashiers check.
