Cindys father is a retired Marine. He sent me this newspaper clipping today. I thought it would be appropriate to post to the board.
President Bush May Dispatch Marines To France
President Bush has authorized the Joint Chiefs to begin drawing up battle plans to pull France's ass out of the fire for the third time. France facing an apparent overwhelming force of up to + 1,000 ticked off teenagers has requested assistance from the United States. Mr. Bush doubts France's ability to hold off the little pissants. Mr. Bush stated, "If the last two world wars are any indication, I would expect France to surrender any day now". The Chairman of the Joint Chief of Staff, General Peter Pace (U.S. Marine Corps) warned the President that it might be necessary to send up to 5 marines to get things under control. The general admitted that 5 marines may be overkill but he wanted to get this thing under control within 24 hours after arriving in France. He stated he was having a hard time finding even one marine to help the ungrateful "frogs" out for a third time but thought that he could possibly persuade a few women marines to do the job before they went on pregnancy leave.
President Bush asked Gen. Pace to get our marines out of France as soon as order was restored. He also reminded Gen. Pace to make sure the marines did not deploy with soap, razors, or deodorant. The least they stand out, the better.

ROTFLMAO!!  You had me going for a second there Ed, I was fire engine red over here thinking American's were going to help bail them out from their "Chickens coming home to roost", I let out a loud WTF! and my wife came in the room asking, "What's wrong?" Then I burst out laughing. She just looked at me like, your crazy and walked out, LOL. I love to see ultra librals like France get bit in the **s. I think what we're seeing is great entertainment. Sorry thing is they are already begining to surrender in their little mini civil war, saying, "yes we recognize we could have done more to be more tolarable to our immigrant population". Sounds like all we need to do is go slap em around a bit and they'll straighten up or atleast start seeing things our way.
Hey Ed, how many French soldiers does it take to repell a German invasion? No one knows it's never been attempted before!!

What is happening in France is terrible, they now have an evening curfew in some places. It is something that could happen to any country, a bomb that is just waiting to exlpode... we all have them and we know that they are out there, people that have not adapted to our societies. That rebel and blame the goverment for their failures and misfortunes. France is not recognisable at this moment. I know that we are not all french fans over here, but this problem i think is a little everywhere in the world and is just waiting for it's moment to come out... Seeing all of this, i wonder what the world is coming to. (just my two cents

I forgot to mention that France has had warnings about this, but not enough was done by the goverment to prevent this... I know that this is starting in Belgium too, cars in Brussel and in the surrounding area being set alight... It is certainly not safe to be walking around there at night... Countries that are so easy to penatrate and get into, so many ilegal people, ilegal workers... Or people that are legal but that are not allowed to work from the goverment??? I am not attacking anyone here, i am just saying that there is so much of this kinda crap out there and so little is being done about it...

Hey I just thought about it. When I go to work I'll see if everyone is up for a paratroop drop into New Mecca, oh, I'm sorry did I say that out loud, I'm sorry I meant France to help them. I have the perfect plan for helping them put out all their fires. In flight we drink water to the point of almost death. Then we drop in like usual at zero dark : 30 thats late at night for you civilians  We make our exit from our high performance aircraft and while dropping down we already have our trousers rigged (and neccessary equipment ) ready to start hosing down the city for them as we drop in  Except we hit the banks before our very immediate troop withdrawl and make those smelly, coward b*****ds pay us back what we $pent to let them live in peace up till this point.

I have no sympathy for the French. Had they, Germany and some of the other countrys stood with us firmly in the beginning the Iraq war would have likely been unnecessary and many brave American boys would still be alive.

Please get your facts straight. France, Germany and some other countries were against the war, which in fact is, according to international law, illegal. It was your president that pushed for this war and he is the one that sends american boys overthere on false pretences. And if the reason for this war was the capturing of the Sadam Hussein than the Americans have no reason to blame the french because during the first Gulf war it was an American General that ordered a French regiment of Legionairs to stop a raid to capture Sadam Hussein.

Nice. Though I suspect you don't much differentiate between Muslim, and Muslim extremist.
Regardless, I find it interesting that Will will remove a link to a site where an owner 'begs for money' - citing it as being in poor taste -
Yet members here can state they kill for hobbies' sake - and no one finds that in poor taste.
