I've had dogs in the past especially growing up but never a GSD. I wasn't even really looking or wanting a dog at the time. This one just happened to come by my door one morning and I figured someone would claim her. Eventually we all just got attached. This website has given us so much information. Here she is.

I posted an ad in the paper when I found her, signs everywhere including local vet offices and pet stores. All she had on her was a chain collar without any tags. I found her when she was around 5 months old im guessing. I think she sure is pretty.

Welcome to the forum Stephanie and Pandora.

If my dog isn't learning, I'm doing something wrong.

I just noticed the rules said had to post a photo of me with my dog. Well here is one.

I'm glad she ended up here. I never thought i'd be much of a dog person. I never disliked dogs but when growing up the pets always belonged to my parents so I never had much to do with them besides a pat on the head whenever they would walk by. I never thought about getting a dog while in college because It wouldn't be fair to the dog with me gone all the time. So, i finally get to enjoy the company of a pooch. I've thought about getting her a friend to play with because currently all she does is wrestle with the cat (who thinks he's a dog).

I was expecting clothing to get chewed up and the furniture to get eaten but she's been very good. It's a shame because someone spent time training her. She knew sit, shake and roll over and would walk nicely on a leash. I feel bad thinking someone might be missing their beloved pet but they should have put tags on her.

She was wearing that horrible sweater thing to keep her from chewing at a hot spot on her back when I first found her. I think she had an allergy maybe to something she was eating. She's been fine now my parents suggested feeding Solid Gold to her so that's what i've kept her on. I know a lot of people feed raw but until I learn more about it i'm kind of afraid to do so. She gets a raw treat now and then if we're about to cook buffalo wings or something but nothing more than that.

She's beautiful and so is the cat! Love that last pic, what a face!

Is that a flame point traditional Siamese?

Everyone calls him a flame point. He was actually following me around outside the post office one day and he seemed really dirty and skinny. I left and figured i'd check back in a few hours if he was still there i'd bring him home and well he was, he was just following anyone meowing at them my guess is for food. His name is Postal. He's the calmest cat i've ever met. He will come when called, loves attention and begs for it just like a dog would. He's insane.
