This is starting to get some legs. Senator Dole called the secretary of the army today wanting to know whats going on here?

Here are a few news articles. My son was interviewed for the local TV station:

QUOTE from the 1st one:

RALEIGH, N.C. --
A video shot by the father of an 82nd Airborne Division soldier that shows poor conditions such as mold in a barracks at Fort Bragg caught the attention Friday of a U.S. senator and high-ranking Army officials.

Ed Frawley, a dog breeder from Menomonie, Wis., posted the narrated video on YouTube.com on Tuesday after traveling to North Carolina to welcome his son, Sgt. Jeff Frawley, home from a 15-month tour in Afghanistan. END

GOOD JOB, ED!

Congrats, Ed! Your video is getting a lot of righteous attention and apparently will generate some quick action.

From the article:
". . . One problem was that maintenance and repairs weren't complete because the soldiers in C Company, 2nd Battalion, 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment, came home three weeks ahead of schedule, he said."

Uh-huh, like I'm gonna believe that the Army would have had that space real spiffy looking in 3 weeks? Get me a mirror. I want to see if I look that stupid.

Mike

Great to see progress made!!! I sent the video to everyone in my email list.
If the troops came home early maybe they where to inhabit another of barracks, that a group waiting to be deployed is living in atm.

That is not an excuse for the conditions!

Wow, I'm thrilled. Someone is actually listening. Sometimes it seems no one listens or cares. It's good to see that's not the case with this.

Ed,

Your video popped up here, as well:

At least it's good to hear that Jeff got home a little early.

I sent your video and the other news links to Matt Drudge (hope that was OK).

He's a little "out there" but lots of people read his site. This seems like a story he'd be interested in.
