Product Description

The MaXX 50 is a higher strength GoughNut toy. It is marked with a yellow dot that indicates a tougher product. The tear strength, the tensile strength, and what we call modulus (the psi at various elongation) is higher. What these physical properties yield is a more durable product. The GoughNut MaXX 50 is recommended for extreme chewers. Includes a built-in safety feature: once a dog has chewed down to the red central core, its time to replace the toy.

My 9 year old Rottweiler will tear any toy to pieces in minutes- my husband jokingly says we should have named her "Shredder" instead of Brandy. I tried the GoughNuts MaXX and unfortunately, she did manage to get a little piece of it off and the hole just grew from there. I called your office and talked to one of your helpful staff who told me that GoughNuts had just released a new and stronger ring called the GoughNuts MaXX 50. I decided to give that a try and I am so glad I did. I have had the new toy for a couple of weeks now and it still looks like it's BRAND NEW despite being chewed on almost constantly! I have gone over the entire toy daily looking for tooth holes and have not found any at all. Brandy also seems to love the toy as she carries it everywhere and will even sleep with her chin resting on it. Thank you, Leerburg and GoughNuts, for a safe and durable toy for my "shredder".
