Police Style Leather Muzzle
Muzzle sizes and how to measure your dog's nose.
There is little doubt that the Police style leather muzzle is the finest muzzle money can buy. Our muzzle is the same muzzle design as other vendors sell for $250.00. There is no difference in quality.
If your need for a muzzle is to teach fight “in muzzle” during protection training, I recommend my training DVD titled Muzzle Fighting for Police Service Dogs. This is the best muzzle training video ever made.
The police style muzzle offers the security and the best air flow of any muzzle on the market for a leather muzzle. Dogs can wear this muzzle and be trained in building search or area search with the muzzle on. Some trainers even allow their dogs to drink with this muzzle (although I think this is not a good idea as it can only lead to a weakening of the leather).
The muzzle is strong and very well made; riveted throughout.

Review 1 for the Police Style Leather Muzzle November 8, 2008 Ed, Let you know we worked my dog in Muzzle for the first time yesterday ( helper did not think the dog had it in him) Thor is a very dominant high drive dog and has soon as the helper was in a couple of meters I gave him a bit of leash and he hit him like a torpedo in the chest and then proceeded to give the helper a very good going over on the ground! Thank god for those extremely well made Police leather muzzles of yours – no concerns of accidental bites or the muzzle coming off. Thank you for a great product and thank you for the DVD on muzzle work. And Ed I will have to agree with you that the dominant high prey drive dogs can really excel in this area (tons of fight drive). Mike |
