Jute Bite Bar

This is a very well constructed tool used in bite development. We use this type of bite bar or bite wedge in our DVD "Preparing Your Dog for the Helper." The bite bar is small enough and soft enough for younger, green dogs but also strong enough material to handle a full bite from an older dog.
This Jute Bite Bar is a softer, but firm bite bar. The Jute Bite Bar is 20 inches long and 11 inches wide. There are two hidden handles inside each end of the bite bar. The handles are covered with foam. There is a third handle added on the bite bar. This handle is located on the near side of the bar and is a stiffer, nylon handle. All of the stitching is reinforced. This bite bar is imported from Germany. Some people prefer a jute bite bar to a synthetic bite bar because they feel it is will last longer and hold up better against their dogs teeth.
If you prefer a synthetic bite bar we also sell one of those of equal quality and superior construction.
